Story in short
As the sun rises over the glistening waters of the Mediterranean, a lone windsurfer stands ready at the water's edge.
Welcome to a thrilling tale of music, travel, and adventure, that takes us from the idyllic beaches of the Caribbean to the shimmering waters of the Mediterranean. Follow Gatto on his quest to conquer a challenge that pushes him to his limits and realize his dreams.
Gatto is a man with a mission - to set a world record for crossing the Mediterranean by windsurfing.
Gatto and his team of film-makers, safety and coaching staff, are planning to attempt a windsurfing journey across the Mediterranean Sea from Northern Cyprus to Kizkalesi Castle in Mersin Turkey . Their journey will begin in the summer of 2023, starting from Scheveningen Den Haag.
This new project will not only set a new record but also help protect the marine ecosystem. The goal is to raise funds for the creation of an artificial coral reef and place it in the stunning bay of Kizkalesi.
By partnering with sponsors and setting a new record , we will not only achieve a monumental accomplishment but also ensure the preservation of the underwater world for generations to come.
This innovative business model that has been successful in various fields including sports, music, nature, arts, tourism, and social media. Our aim is not only to demonstrate the effectiveness of this model but also to inspire the younger generation to pursue entrepreneurship and think beyond traditional business methods.
Apart from presenting this activity as a model of business, we also plan to expose it in universities and teach students how to copy and use this model in their respective fields. This will not only provide them with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful entrepreneurship but also encourage them to think creatively and contribute to society through innovative ideas.
with this Arts and Sciences project, Gatto has been working on as a submission for his master's degree at the Royal Academy of Arts in Den Haag, the Netherlands. This project is a testament to Gatto's passion for art and science, and his commitment to exploring new avenues of creativity.
The Summerians project features a film documentary and music video , captured in stunning 360-degree format. The documentary aims to showcase the beauty and excitement of adventure sports, such as windsurfing, and highlights the unique experience of crossing the Mediterranean Sea.
Through the use of the VR tool Oculus Quest, travel agencies can give their customers an immersive, visual reality experience of the documentary. This innovative approach to tourism promotion provides a new level of interactivity and engagement for travelers.

This innovative project combines art and science to sink an airplane and multiple sculptures made with dead shells and pH-neutral concrete to create an artificial coral reef on the sea floor.

The Summerian's Challenge-themed music album and video will be stream on major online monetized platforms. 4 GoPro Cameras 360 + Drone action camera will by recording at all times during the challenge, + live broadcasts at the departure and arrival as we cross the connection zone for media.

Our teamwork is ready to start and everyone knows what to do to cross the Mediterranean, communication flow is maximum. Sponsors expect to hear good news.
We will leave the Netherlands with our surfing equipment and staff, a media reporter will document everything for a 3-day trip, on the way we hope to play music in the cities we pass. Upon arrival in Turkey, we expect it to take a few days to sort things out with all the paperwork.
Once that is clear, we will hold a party and a press conference at a downtown mall to start the challenge.
We will take a ferry to Cyprus and wait there for the right conditions until the meteorology team gives the green light.
A safety team will be ready at North Cyprus Aphendrika, we will launch the sailboard around 5 Am, expecting to cross in 10 to 13 hours.
We will have 2 sets of sails and boards to make sure we can use the conditions efficiently.
During the crossing, we have access to food and drinks. We will have music and the camera crew will be recording a video clip.

Who is in?
Our team comprises a diverse group of individuals ranging from athletes, musicians, filmmakers and entrepreneurs to producers, teachers, doctors, tour operators , hotel chain managers, government consultants, investors and writers. We are united in our ambitions to implement an innovative Economy+Ecology project in Mersin, aimed at developing ecotourism, sports, and culture in a sustainable way. Our approach combines science, art, and technology to create a unique and inspiring experience for all visitors.
2020 brought changes in my artistic career, all my concerts, flights and festivals were canceled. I couldn't find a way to earn a living from my musical adventures. So I started a project to be presented as a master's degree at the Royal Academy of Arts in the Netherlands, with the mission of starting a movement that would inspire new creative ideas that include science, art and technology, a business model that today can be a grain of sand but that in the future would undoubtedly be an important solution for the economic development anywhere in the world.

It’s good to live the artist’s dream, play music, go on tours, and enjoy teamwork, but I had to do something bigger than myself, to make more sense of what I was doing. I believe it is the inheritance of our heavenly father to Imagine create, deserve, sacrifice and enjoy.
And it happened that as I was walking down the boulevard, looking at the golden sparks that you normally see in the sea, I was spellbound for a while and felt as if I could cross the water over that endless line of lights.
I was wondering how far the other side would be and what was there, and I had an epiphany where I found myself on a world adventure sailing away from it all on a challenge no one else did before, something like a world record!
I thought I will need a lot of friends, especially because it will be a nice adventure to enjoy with other people but also because it will be very difficult to do alone.
So I created this book to show you an idea and ask you to join us!
How I make my money?
"I love my job, working on my adventures. I'm happy if I can earn my bread, sleep in a good bed, and get enough money to continue my journey and share my stories with the special people I know. I want to go as far as I can, imagining and turning my memories into real gold."

Sequence of events!
The mission specified in the search result is to complete a sailing challenge where the participants have to set a 24-hour maximum sailing time on a full moon morning right after the June solstice and sail from Cyprus to Mersin.
To successfully complete this challenge , participants would need to carefully plan their sailing route and timing to take advantage of the full moon and favorable weather conditions. They would also need to properly prepare their boat and equipment to ensure it is in good condition for the entire 24-hour duration of the challenge.
In addition, the participants may need to consider safety regulations and guidelines related to sailing in that region, as well as any permits or approvals they may need to obtain before embarking on the challenge.
Overall, completing such a challenge would require a combination of strategic planning, technical skill, and physical endurance, as well as the ability to adapt to changing conditions and unforeseen challenges that may arise during the 24-hour duration of the challenge.
Day 1:
12:00 PM: Organize surfboards and sailing gear, set GPS coordinates for junctions and checkpoints based on weather conditions, calculate departure time, and put the boat in the ready place for emergencies and departure.
7:00 PM: Capitán meeting with the technical team in Cyprus the night before an online meeting with the Turkey team.
Send notification by phone to the control center to indicate readiness for green light.
4:00 AM: Arrange food, drinks, ice, flares for staff, and safety bags for everyone.
Record a press interview.
5:00 AM: Launch the surfboard and start sailing at 5:30 AM from Aphendrika in Cyprus to Kizkalesi Castle in Turkey.
Waypoint rest every 18 km.
Layline dive Treasure offer.
Parasailing, wave runners, and boat welcome 5 km before arrival at the beach with flares and bright smoke.

How are you all?, How nice to talk to you again, I am writing to you about your support and permission for my Windsurf challenge we talked about in our last meeting, This adventure has been a big project for me for the past three years – the Sumerians Challenge. As I told you I am planning to windsurf across the Mediterranean Sea from beautiful Cyprus to Turkey, with the aim of setting a world record and promoting various environmental and cultural initiatives let me explain.
Introduction:
The "SUMMERIANS CHALLENGE" project is a windsurfing challenge that involves traversing the Mediterranean Sea, The primary goals of this project are to set a world record to create awareness to promote eco-tourism, arts and science, environmental conservation, to promote Cyprus and Turkey as unique tourist destinations, for creating Video Clips and to practice Windsurf, as well, to create an artificial coral reef as a sustainable underwater attraction for sport divers, diving schools, and create content media material to Inspire future activities through educational speeches at universities of Venezuela, Cyprus, The Netherlands, and Cyprus.
The Challenge:
The journey involves traveling from Holland to Turkey by car and airplane, followed by a ferry to Cyprus. Once in Cyprus, I will wait for optimal conditions to launch my Windsurf board and sail approximately 98 to 130km windsurfing adventure from Dipkarpaz to Kiskalezi in Turkey. This challenging feat is expected to take around 12 to 16 hours, with planned stops for breaks and safety checks, taking advantage of the longest sunlight and winds.
Financial Support:
To fund this project, I am seeking sponsorship from individuals and companies. I plan to approach 100 sponsors with contributions ranging from 100 to 500 euros, and larger sponsors with contributions from 1,000 to 5,000 euros, hoping to reach a minimum of 12.000 euros. This financial support will cover the expenses associated with the challenge, including safety measures, medical assistance, media coverage, and logistics for the team.
